Entering the gate of Mesa Stilla Resort, I seemed to be dragged by a magnet to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery against the background of Mount Merapi. It is remarkable that the ancient buildings that have changed function become a comfortable place for tourists to stay. Uniquely shortly after entering this area I was greeted by an ancient building which was previously the Mayong Station train platform. It turned out that the train platform was indeed carried out to be extraordinary.
In my opinion this place is more than just a resort for vacationers, but it provides shade of soul and a tired body. Shortly after arriving, I was taken around the housse club, an old, renovated building.
According to the guide there the building was founded in 1828 by a Dutch architect. Uniquely in this club house there is a small library and can be used to fill time, while relaxing, we can read while lying on bale-bale.
For those who don’t want to spend the night here because the price is expensive, they can take a tour of a coffee plantation at a cost of around 150 thousand. or just drink coffee at the cafe
There are 4 kinds of coffee grown in Losari, ranging from Arabica, Robusta, Andong Sari (Java) to Excelsa. During the tour on the plantation, the tour guide also told about the history of Losari.
The initial area of Losari was only 11 hectares, but now it has grown to 22 hectares. The drafter was Gabriella Teggia (from Italy) who turned out that the Amanjiwo luxury hotel conceptor in Borobudur discovered ’Losari around 91/92, then transformed it into a beautiful resort! Since 2008, Losari is owned by PT Restyle Concept, a subsidiary of Recapital.
According the customer service For those who do not spend the night here can enjoy a meal at the Java Red restaurant which serves Mediterranean cuisine and the best traditional dishes from Indonesia.
26 bungalow facilities are provided with typical Javanese interior design. Incredible inside it seemed to be in medieval times with antique furniture. Each villa has its own balcony and courtyard, uniquely designed bathrooms and beautiful views of the plantation and surrounding area.
The swimming pool is truly unique in the form of an octagonal with water flowing from the underground river. But what impressed me was The Hamam, a Turkish style spa and steam bath. Separate baths between men and women also provide a place for relaxation. Traditional Javanese massage with various spices as a skin-based recipe that is believed to be thousands of years old, is also available there.
so much can be found at Mesa Stilla, formerly called Losari Coffee Plantation. The location of Mesa Stila is not far from the Semarang Jogja highway. you can use google map to find it. also you can use traveloka.com to make reservation to this ressort.

Conclusion: even though it is far from Semarang and Jogja but Mesa Stila is verry recommendation for those who want to enjoy coffee with different atmosphere. Very pampering the body, mind, soul and taste. even Catlyn Janner visited the resort to make documentary film.
